Christen - Bridal Portraits

It's difficult to take a bad photo of a beautiful bride. Christen certainly made my job so easy. Look how natural she is in front of the camera. She was so cool, you wouldn't have known that it was the HOTTEST DAY OF THE YEAR. The heat index was hovering somewhere around 103!!!

The Sarah P. Duke Gardens made for a great backdrop. It gave us so many different areas and lighting conditions to shoot from. It was difficult to decide on a favorite so I am putting up some of the ones I really liked. I hope you like them too!!

P.S. Don't tell David, he's not allowed to see these before the wedding!!! 

Amy and Caleb

Amy and Caleb's wedding was one of the those days where I was able to unleash the creativity and love I have for my profession and produce some of the most beautiful raw images I have ever done.
When they first contacted me about shooting their wedding they had been torn between two different location. Rose Hill Plantation, their ultimate choice, couldn't have been a better venue.

Elizabeth and Austin

Wow!!!! The engagement session of Elizabeth and Austin was probably one of my favorite!!!

We started at Carriage Farm (http://manoratcarriagefarm.com) where their wedding will take place in September. It's a great venue with beautiful scenery.

Only a 30 minute drive to downtown Raleigh found us at Boylan Bridge for spectacular views and beautiful weather.

We finished at Starbucks, where it all began for Elizabeth and Austin!!!

I have to thank Katherine Wrenn of Posh Event Planning (http://myposhevent.com). She coordinated the whole thing. I think I did some of my best work because of her.

Amy and Caleb

We braved the cold and headed out to one of my fave spots in Morrisville for some spur of the moment engagement shots of Amy and Caleb. What a terrific couple!!! Here are a few selections of the photos we took on the day. Enjoy!!
